Total = unrounded single-attempt cost × 1 = CNY 3.39059

Per accepted clip = unrounded total ÷ 1 = CNY 3.39059

Estimates use your planned attempts and accepted clips; they do not predict success rates.

Start with the video settings

The example uses Seedance 2.5 with a text prompt, five seconds, 480p and 16:9. Audio and draft mode are off, with no image or video input.

The result is a silent 854 × 480 video at 24 fps. Keeping the settings alongside the video makes it easier to compare costs when you change the duration or resolution.

Calculate the token cost

The task returned 48,437 completion tokens. Use completion_tokens for the cost calculation; do not add total_tokens to it.

At CNY 70 per million tokens for this configuration, divide the token count by one million and multiply by 70. This gives a public-rate estimate; actual provider charges follow the account’s bill.

48,437 tokens ÷ 1,000,000 × CNY 70 = CNY 3.39059
Public-rate estimate: approximately CNY 3.39

Understand tokens and studio credits

Token pricing describes the model provider’s usage charge. SuperSeedance uses credits so you can see the amount for your chosen settings before submitting.

For example, a five-second, 480p, 16:9 Seedance 2.5 text-to-video generation with audio and draft mode off uses 83 credits. Other durations and resolutions have their own quote.

Budget for all completed attempts

Count every completed generation, including clips you decide not to use. Add editing and other production costs, then divide by the number of finished clips you keep.

For the 83-credit configuration, three completed generations use 249 credits. Credits reserved for confirmed failed tasks are returned; a completed clip still uses credits if you prefer a different creative result.

Control costs before generating

Start with a short shot and a clear main action. Use a lower resolution to explore a new composition, then choose the final output settings once the direction is clear.

A new request at a higher resolution is a separate generation, not an upgrade of the existing clip. Its details may change, so include that new request in the budget.

Check the estimate whenever you change duration, resolution or aspect ratio. Avoid resubmitting a task while its status is still being checked, and reuse prompts that already fit your brief.

Questions and answers

How many credits does a five-second Seedance 2.5 video cost?+

The text-to-video example at 480p, 16:9, with audio and draft mode off costs 83 credits. Other settings have their own quote; review it before submitting.

Is CNY 3.39 the SuperSeedance selling price?+

No. It is a public-rate estimate from one sample’s provider token usage, not an invoice or the studio price. SuperSeedance charges the displayed credits.

Are failed tasks and unwanted videos treated the same?+

No. Confirmed failed tasks return reserved credits. A completed video uses credits even if you decide not to keep it. A task marked Needs review must be checked before its charge or return is confirmed.

Does turning on draft mode reduce the price at 480p?+

No. The current studio rate card charges the same credits for the same duration, resolution and aspect ratio with draft mode on or off.

Will generating at a higher resolution upgrade my existing video?+

No. A new generation is a new paid task and may produce a different result. This workflow does not convert an existing draft into the same shot at a higher resolution.
