How do I make a video with Seedance from text?
Describe one subject, one visible action and a camera move. Choose Seedance 2.5, set the format, and review the credit quote before generating. The completed clip is saved in My Creations.
- Write what changes during the shot: who moves, in which direction, and where the action ends.
- Choose duration, resolution, aspect ratio and audio. Keep those settings with your prompt so you can compare results.
- Watch the full result before downloading. Check movement, faces, small details and the ending.
Before you generate
Why does my Seedance video barely move?+
A prompt about appearance or atmosphere leaves the action open. Add a visible start and end to the movement, and say whether the camera follows the subject or stays fixed. Keep one main action per shot.
Can I copy the settings from a sample?+
The prompt guide includes original videos with their prompts and settings. Use its creation button to load the example into the studio, then review the current quote. Reusing a prompt does not guarantee an identical result.
Where do I find the finished video?+
Open My Creations. A successful task provides playback and download. A queued or running task has not finished; check its status before submitting another attempt.
